From looking at this final contents mock-up, I have decided that I will need a variety of other artists and perhaps a band to feature on my contentspage- this will add authenticity.
To achieve and continue the look of a rock magazine, I will need to style the artists appropriately-my initial idea coming to mind of a solo female artist,much like Florence Welch shown here.
During styling and selection, I will need to select my friends I feel most appropriately suited to my genre and maybe who resemble an existing artist.
I will keep in mind that I need to create a wide range of diffrent shots and camera angles, also editing will need to be in keeping with the colour palette of the rest of the page.

Here, I wantedto experiment with a darker colour palette, although I feel that in conclusion, a simpler, lighter palette would be more suitable and have more appeal. Afterall, readers of rock magazines don't want anything too fancy, just simple to read and too the point, not loosing all asthetic appeal though.
I also feel that from this mock-up, I don't think I will take up a complete half of my contents page with an image.

This was the first contnts page mock-up I created. I really like the huge 'R' in the background of the page, I matched the colour fromthe image opposite, I like how the image seems to flow into the letter, I think this is something I would like to encorporate in my final design.
I amhappy with the three colour palette of this mock-up, I feel that a saturated image is something I will definetly use in my final magazine when editing.
For the text, I have used the text from 'Rolling Stone' Magazine as I like how they set out their contents text, simple, yet fashionable.
I like the use of other artistspictures with enlarged page numbers aswell, this is also inspired by'Rolling Stone' and areboth things I think I will definetly use when composing my final design.
On a negative side, I feel that I need to mellow down on the fashion look of things and turn up the music appeal. I feel that, like my covers, this contents page could seem too fashion related. To overcome this, I think I will definetly use a guitar or another instrument in my final shoot.
