
MARKUS KLINKO
Born in Switzerland, French-Hungarian Markus Klinko was the son of a French Horn player. Aged 3, he began to learn to play the piano, later studying harp in Paris at the National Conservatory during his teen years.
Markus' career as a harp soloist took him to worldwide fame, resulting in him becoming the first harpist with a major recording label contract, releasing award-winning albums and performing around the globe. After recieving the “Grand Prix du Disque” in 1994, Markus decided to persue his passion for a career in photography.
He met Indrani not long after, a creative collaboration was born.
The work of Markus and Indrani was discovered by the world renowned fashion incpoiration, Isabella Blow - discovering the likes of Alexander Mcqueen. Isabella gave then their first magazine cover as well as David Bowie and Iman who commissioned their first album art and book cover.
Together, they have created globally recognised album covered such as Beyonce's debut album 'Dangerously in Love'. Shortly after several album covers, numerous editorials and prestegous ad campaigns followed, clients including Eva Mendes, Anne Hathaway, Will Smith, Lady Gaga, Keanu Reeves, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. Advertising clients including Anna Sui, L’Oreal Paris, Pepsi, and Nike.
Their work has been seen in world renowned publications such Rolling Stone, Interview, V Magazine, Vanity Fair and Vogue.
