Final Shoot.

On the final shoot, myself, and the model felt that the outcome of the photos were not as good as we had both expected and that we could've done better. Although, once uploaded onto the computer and edited on Photoshop, they weren't as bad as we initially thought. We came back and attempted another shoot, much like my mock up photos in a white, studio-like setting although they didn't turn out as well as planned and the location shots seemed to have more interest and an overall better aesthetic. So therefore, I have come to the conclusion that I will use the location shots for my final piece. Now, I have to select the images I want to use and create my draft magazine cover, contents and DPS although I think I have an initial idea of which shots to use.

On one of the shots, with the camera in the artists hand, was inspired by a shot of Josh Beech in the Dazed&Confused shoot by Brett Lloyd. I took inspiration from this shoot to use props and here is my version althoughn instead of a gun, I used a polaroid camera. I feel that this shot worked well although I definetly feel that despite the rebelish concept, the shot comes across too staged and would stand out from the artist image I have in my head.

  1. If I ignore the fact you have trespassed on private property and that you have skipped my media lesson these are outstanding photographs. You have a real falir for the visual. Excellent work Matt.
