DPS mock up 2
On this DPS, I like the way in which I have experimented with the title by halving the colours on either page. I think that by using the colour tones from the artists skin makes the colour palette seem more intimate perhaps, and more inviting. I feel that the softer tones may relate to the fact of the audience getting to know the artist better as well as adding to the simple layout which makes the image stand out more.
I like the image I have used on one page here, I feel that this mid-shot - firstly meant for the cover shot - works well and is simple, yet the artist is easily recognised and presented as down-to-earth perhaps. This could appeal to readers as they are not intimidated by the artist and feel as if that he could just be another regular lad.
I think this is the best double page spread out of your three because it all works together the best. I think the picture works well on the whole of one page and the caption over the top really fits in.I like what you've done to the title will the colours and I like the font as well as the simplicity of it.
ReplyDeleteI prefer this double page spread out of the three because it looks so professional! I think its better having the writing on the left page and the image on the right. Also the caption works well too. I also love the layout with the smaller picture and the writing around it how you've done the title looks good :) The colours look work really well and i like the simplicity of it. :D
